No. 8 Chambers - Coronavirus update

This update seeks to set out the steps that No. 8 Chambers has taken to modify its working practices in light of the measures that have been recommended/required by HM Government in accordance with the advice received from Public Health England.

Whilst we would like to reassure all of our clients that Chambers will continue to offer the same high standard and quality of work during the unprecedented disruption being caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, the safety of our members, staff and clients must be our overriding priority and with that in mind, we have made some changes to our normal working practices.

Whilst Chambers will remain open and whilst our main phone line will continue to remain available, members of Chambers will, wherever possible, be working remotely and we will not be offering any conferencing facilities within Chambers whilst social isolating guidelines remain in force.

To ensure that we continue to provide an efficient service, we ask clients to contact our clerks via the appropriate email account at either This email address is being protected from spambots. Where possible, we ask that all papers be filed by email.

Our clerking team will continue to be available via telephone during normal working hours: 0121 236 5514
