Mark Jackson is a specialist criminal practitioner with a broad range of trial experience including VHCC serious fraud and money laundering cases, associated confiscation proceedings, cases concerned with drugs importation and evasion of duty and cases involving serious violence and sexual offences including historical child abuse.

His defence practice has included acting on behalf of members of the armed forces and the Police and he is an accredited VHCC panel advocate.

Mark also specialises in regulatory law, including Health and Safety, Trading Standards, Environmental and Planning prosecutions and taxi licensing law.

In addition to his regulatory law defence practice, he also prosecutes regulatory offences on behalf of a number of Local Authorities.

Over recent years Mark has developed something of a niche practice in terms of cases brought under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and in this regard he is regularly instructed to advise and prosecute on behalf of the Fire and Rescue Services.
