Sharon initially practiced predominately in Immigration, prosecuting and defending in both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
She has represented clients in both the Upper and Lower Immigration Tribunals and also the High Court.
Sharon has spent over ten years advising local authorities and has gained vital experience in representing both the local authorities and direct access clients at the Court of Protection. In addition, she has represented local authorities in complex Court of Protection cases and has considerable experience in drafting welfare applications, financial deputy applications, forced marriage applications, ordinary residence disputes and deprivation of assets. She also has valuable experience dealing with issues of capacity and mental health cases.
Sharon is able to transfer her experience gained from her Court of Protection practice into her Family Law practice. Her experience includes the following areas: Non-Molestation applications and Child Care matters.
In suitable cases Sharon will undertake public access work.
