Following her pupillage Satvir practiced predominately in Criminal Defence work. Her practice has subsequently developed to cover both Prosecution and Criminal Defence work at the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.

Prior to coming to the Bar Satvir was employed as an in-house Senior Legal Officer, for a Housing Association attaining broad experience in Possession Hearings in Landlord and Tenant matters.

Satvir has also completed an internship with the United Nations Headquarters, New York, working with the Sixth Committee on Counter-Terrorism. She continues to have a keen interest in Human Rights Law.

Her considerable experience in Family Law involves Child Care proceedings, Injunctions, Non-Molestation Applications and Divorce and Matrimonial Finance matters.

Satvir has also undertaken general immigration matters at the Immigration Tribunal Court.

She is a qualified Mediator.

She is also authorized to undertake Direct/ Public Access matters.

Alongside her practice, Satvir is a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University specialising in Computer Law and Evidence to Forensic Degree students. She is a qualified lecturer attaining the Fellowship awarded by the Higher Education Academy.
