Amanda became a tenant in Chambers in July 1978 after working in the Crown Courts for the Probation Service. From 1987 she decided to focus on Family Law building a successful practice until 2000. Seeking a fresh challenge and for her own family reasons she left Chambers and joined the then Immigration and Nationality Directorate as a Presenting Officer. She was happy to return to Chambers in 2003 and ever since has concentrated on her work as an immigration practitioner.
